John’s life is shaped by imaging.
He was born in Pyskowice, Poland, and emigrated at
the age of six to West Germany. He graduated in Fine Arts and German
at the college and studied at the University of Mainz, Germany (Medical
Imaging). In parallel John worked on different art works on paper
and canvas and photography.
Since his moving to New York City in August 2002,
Fine Art Photography became his main working field. Imaging – perception
in two dimensions – is John’s central bias and his challenge.
