Gallery-Forster features modern and contemporary imaging, fine art, fine art photography, paintings and works on paper. The gallery's challenge is to become a forum for artists of two dimensions.

The gallery was founded in April 2003 by Dr. Gregor J. Forster and is located in Yorkville, the east district of the upper east site. The exhibits are presented in alternative and extraordinary private surroundings, whereas a main area is the web presentation of the artistic works. Furthermore, the gallery organizes special exhibitions at different places periodically.

Focus of the gallery is to exhibit the work of emerging international contemporary artists, who work at a two-dimensional level. “imaging of different perception” could be an approximate common concept of the gallery. All works published by Gallery-Forster are unique specimens or in very limited editions.
